Basic Obedience Course

Due to the hectic business of modern life, you and your dog may not be able to find time in your schedule to join us in group class.

For the person and pooch who prefer to learn in the comfort of your own home, Up Dog offers In-Home Basic Obedience in two convenient versions: 
our traditional 7-week Basic Obedience Course, or our concentrated 4-week Basic Obedience Course.

7-week Basic In-Home: $600

4-week concentrated Basic In-Home: $350

Customized In-Home Training 

Up Dog also offers training in your own home that is customized to fit your individual needs.

We begin with a leadership-skills session, which is often the solution for many of your dog's problematic behaviors.

We will also work with you to hone your training skills with advanced techniques, such as tricks and starter agility.

In-Home Doggy Calisthenics

Because modern life is not always compatible with your tail-wagger's best interests, we offer a service akin to traditional dog walking with an Up Dog twist. In Doggy Calisthenics, we will work on training while we exercise your dog. Because your dog will develop new skills, calisthenic training works your dog's brain as well as his body. 

The calisthenics schedule is flexible and may be set by you. For example, you may choose for us to walk or run with your dog and then work on basic commands, or you may opt for us bring out a starter agility kit. The schedule and content is all worked out with you beforehand, to ensure your dog is good and tired when you return home.
